WHY CTE?

CTE prepares students for more than a good paying job. It is the beginning of a career path. Today's workers are lifelong learners: cutting edge skills aren't cutting edge for long. CTE is designed to help high school students transition to postsecondary education, help college students acquire skills and knowledge to find gainful employment, help workers acquire skills or refresh job skills for secure employment.

HOW ARE CTE CLASSES DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CLASSES?
CTE training approximates real work-place situations, giving you real life experiences. Auto mechanic students work on engines. Dental or nursing students spend time in a doctor's office or clinic. Students in web design programs will build websites.
Real life, real situations.
