The Wasatch Front Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is a vibrant, non-profit singing organization based in the Salt Lake City area along Utah’s Wasatch Front. It includes the award-winning men’s chorus The Saltaires (founded in 1989, known for high-level international competition and classic barbershop performances) and the newer inclusive all-voice ensemble Mosaic, which blends barbershop harmony with broader a cappella styles like jazz, soul, and pop.
The chapter’s overall goal is to bring people together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives through singing — perpetuating the American art form of barbershop harmony, building sincere friendships, fostering community engagement, inspiring artistic excellence, and sharing joyful a cappella music with audiences through rehearsals, performances, competitions, educational events (like the Wasatch Choral Summit), and outreach.
